➥ added a note: Sachiko is extremely independent and headstrong individual. Her high achiever complex has made her disciplined, focused, and determined to excel in almost everything for a good future. Her intelligence and quick wit often come across in her sarcastic sense of humor, coming across as harsh. On the surface, Sachiko seems blunt and critical, with little patience for people she views as lazy or unmotivated. She holds herself and others to high standards, which can make her seem judgmental. However, she doesn’t criticize to be cruel, she genuinely believes in pushing people to improve, even if her delivery isn’t gentle. Sometimes it can be far too much.
She struggles to show affection, so her kindness is often quiet or indirect. Whether it’s through small acts of care or defending someone she values, her softer side shows itself only to those she spends more time with. When it comes to love, she doesn’t really understand herself or what she wants in a relationship. She often stays with someone for the comfort or stability they provide, mistaking that for genuine love. However, she’s unaware of this pattern, leaving her confused about her own feelings and uncertain about her connections with others.
She has a strong sense of morals, and her morality guides her actions. She believes in fairness, and while she isn’t the warmest person, she’ll always side for what she thinks is right. She is dependable and protective of those she cares about, even if she doesn’t always express it the right way.

➥ added a note: Sachiko was raised by her mother and her mother’s close-knit group of friends, who once belonged to the punk Japanese band "The Black Stones (Blast)." Though her mother wasn’t a band member herself, she was deeply intertwined with these musicians' lives. Sachiko’s early years were filled with warmth and love. From a young age, Sachiko stood out as a prodigy, she was in an advanced school due to her high IQ at a young age. She excelled in everything she touched, academics, music, sports, charity, student council. Her achievements were extreme even when she was a young girl. The label of "gifted child" placed an immense weight on her shoulders, often times it wore her out. Unlike her sister who was also intelligent, but to the extent of Sachiko, Sachiko felt the suffocating pressure to prove her worth at every turn because she was a prodigy. She buried herself in endless pursuits to maintain the image of perfect gifted child, harboring resentment toward anyone she deemed "incompetent." The constant drive for being perfectly well rounded grew as a shield for every other aspect of insecurity she held toward herself.
Her father, a guitarist for the famous rock band Trapnest, was an enigma in her life. As a child, Sachiko idolized him, starstruck of having a rockstar father. But as she grew older, her admiration turned to disillusionment. Now, she doesn't tell people who the man who was supposed to be her father was. He kept her mother, her sister, and her a secret from the public anyway. The truth was he was a narcissistic and abusive man. He barely was home due to the fact he lived in England with his band and her older brother, and when he was in Japan, her home was marred by aggressive fights between him and her mother. Often times she would stay up at night listening to furniture flying, putting out cigarettes on her as she screamed, and even crueler acts that she buried deep in her mind. Her older sister tried to shield her from it, but she knew. His love affair with Trapnest’s lead singer shattered whatever illusions Sachiko had left. That singer who had been her childhood idol was now a symbol of everything that had broken her family.
As her mother fell gravely ill and slipped into a coma, Sachiko found herself grappling with grief and anger. Her father’s absence as her mother fights for her life was the final straw. She channeled her anger into trying to build her future, she left Japan for Korea, desperately trying to fill the void left by the only parent she truly loved. But just as Sachiko thought she could build her future. A DNA test revealed that she wasn’t biologically related to the family she had known her entire life. This left Sachiko reeling. The woman who had raised her, was not her biological mother. Yet, Sachiko couldn’t bring herself to feel anything but love for her for all the sacrifices she had made.. Even raising her as if she was truly her daughter. Whenever she's in Japan, she spends time trying to figure out who her actual parents are.
Her true mother was none other than Blast’s lead singer, who she also idealized growing up, only being told she disappeared.. Sachiko's biological father was Trapnest’s former bassist, who had died in a car accident before she was born. She mostly would hear stories about him from Blast members and how great he was. Her biological mother was unable to bear raising a child who reminded her of her dead lover, her birth mother had entrusted Sachiko to her closest friend, Sachiko’s “mother" to raise Sachiko. Her true mother had abandoned her, and her biological father was a dead man she would never meet.
Now, Sachiko is even dating a man whose father is one of the most powerful surgeons in Asia and the only person who might be able to save her comatose mother. The relationship is toxic, even degrading, but she endures it. She smiles through it. Because for Sachiko, nothing matters more than saving the only parent who ever truly loved her. No matter how much it hurts, she’ll play the part, swallow her pride, and stay because if there’s a sliver of hope for her mother’s survival, she’ll do whatever it takes.
